Delivery Areas

How shipping works

We’ve prepared a simple visual guide that shows each step after you place an order, from production to international shipping and local delivery.

Lead time and delivery options

Delivery times vary depending on the product, your selected country or region, and the delivery option available at checkout.

Some items are made to order, which usually takes around 1–2 weeks before dispatch.

We generally offer two delivery options where available:

Standard Delivery

Usually takes around 5–9 weeks, depending on your country, region, and delivery address.

Express Delivery

Usually takes around 1–2 weeks after dispatch. Additional shipping fees may apply depending on the product and destination.

Please check the product page for the most accurate delivery estimate. The final delivery option and cost will always be shown at checkout before you place your order.

Standard Delivery Time by Region

The delivery times below are general estimates for Standard Delivery and may vary slightly depending on your exact address, product size, and local delivery availability.

Where Express Delivery is available, the estimated delivery time is usually 3–11 business days after dispatch. The final delivery options and cost will always be shown at checkout.

Americas

  • United States: 5–7 weeks
  • Canada, Mexico: 6–8 weeks

Europe

  • United Kingdom & European Union: 7–9 weeks
  • Norway, Switzerland: 11–13 weeks

Asia

  • Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia: 2–3 weeks

Middle East

  • Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates: 6–8 weeks

Afric

  • South Africa, Morocco: 7–9 weeks

Oceania

  • AU & New Zealand: 6–8 weeks

Reminder: For Norway and Switzerland, local VAT is payable on delivery. For all other supported countries, the price at checkout is final.

Local delivery and contact

When your order enters the local delivery stage, the driver will contact you by e-mail or SMS to book a delivery window. If you will be away, please tell us your dates so we can help coordinate.

Packaging and carriers

Depending on the size, weight, and number of cartons in your order, delivery may be handled by a specialist furniture carrier or a trusted logistics partner.

We pack each order carefully for furniture transport, using protective packaging to help keep your items safe throughout handling and transit.

Customisation

Most of our products can be customised to suit your space and style. If you have a specific fabric, colour, size, or configuration in mind, please contact us atsupport@ozdesignsofa.com or through our Contact Us page, and our team will be happy to help.

Helpful reminder

For Standard Delivery, we usually send a friendly reminder email around 4–6 weeks after dispatch with receiving tips, the latest delivery update, and the next steps.

For Express Delivery, we’ll normally provide delivery information within around 2–3 business days after dispatch.

Delivery Timeline

Delivery times vary depending on the product, your selected country or region, and whether the item is in stock or made to order.

Please make sure the correct country or region is selected when browsing our website, as delivery availability, shipping cost, and estimated delivery time may vary by location.

You can check the estimated delivery time directly on each product page. The final delivery option and shipping cost will always be shown at checkout before you place your order.

Some items are available for faster delivery if they are currently in stock. Made-to-order pieces usually take around 7–9 weeks, as they are produced and prepared before shipping.

Depending on the size of your order, your sofa may be delivered by parcel courier or specialist furniture freight. Larger orders may be shipped on a pallet or in multiple cartons to help keep everything protected during transit.

If your order is shipped in multiple cartons, packages may occasionally arrive on different days, even if they are dispatched together. This is normal with furniture deliveries, and any remaining packages usually follow shortly after.

Please note that delivery is curbside only unless otherwise stated.

Track Order


For products with an Express Delivery option, we’ll send your order and delivery information once your order has been dispatched. This usually takes around 2–3 business days.

For made-to-order pieces, the delivery journey is a little longer. Once your order has been dispatched, we’ll usually send a reminder email around 5–6 weeks later with delivery tips and the latest estimated arrival timeframe.

When your order reaches the local delivery stage, our furniture delivery partner may contact you by email, SMS, or phone to arrange the final delivery time.

Unexpected Delivery Delays

We always do our best to keep deliveries on schedule. However, in some situations, delivery times may be affected by circumstances outside our control.

This may include severe weather, transport disruptions, carrier delays, strikes, customs delays, road closures, or other unexpected events that affect the delivery route.

If your delivery is delayed or needs to be rescheduled, we’ll do our best to let you know as soon as possible and work with our delivery partner to arrange the next available delivery date.

Preparing for Delivery

Please make sure your phone number and email address are correct, as our delivery partner may contact you before delivery.

If you need to change or cancel a scheduled delivery, please contact us as early as possible. Changes may need to be requested at least 24 hours in advance, depending on the delivery partner’s schedule.

💼 Import Duties & Taxes

For most countries we ship to, import duties, customs clearance fees, and applicable taxes are included in the price shown at checkout.

This means the checkout price is usually the final amount for your order, with no additional import duty or customs tax to pay when your sofa arrives.

For Norway and Switzerland, local VAT is payable on delivery and is not included in the checkout price.

Please make sure the correct country or region is selected when browsing our website, as tax treatment, delivery options, and estimated delivery times may vary by location.

Additional charges may still apply for special delivery requests, failed delivery attempts, remote locations, or address changes after dispatch.
